You are able to access a multitude of reports when you use our owner portal. These reports include regular statements for income and expenses.

Do you screen tenants?2024-04-16T20:55:21+00:00

Yes, we screen all the prospective tenants. The screening process covers a variety of assessments. These include income, employment, credit, rental history and criminal history.

Our screening criteria is:

  • Income must be 2.5 times the monthly rent.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of one year verifiable rental/residence history, no non-compliance issues or evictions.
  • All applicants must have at least 70% positive credit. Discharged Bankruptcies over six (6) months or open Bankruptcy will not be considered. Credit FICO score must be above 550 No outstanding Utility collections (i.e. electric, water, gas, phone, cable, etc.).
  • No dangerous felonies within the last 3 years.
  • Credit score must be 580 or above or they will receive a higher security deposit.
  • Applicants that are registered sex offenders will be denied.

At P.J. Hussey we believe in aligning our success with yours. Unlike flat fee property management services, we charge a percentage of the revenue generated from your property. This means we are invested in optimizing your property’s performance, ensuring that we both benefit as your investment grows.

For instance, if your property generates $2,000 per month in rental income, and our fee is set at 10%, our management fee would be $200. As your revenue increases, so does our commitment to delivering exceptional service, maximizing your profits, and ensuring a win-win partnership. A challenge a lot of full-time investors and first-time listers have when putting their home up for rent is not knowing what to charge. At P. J. Hussey, we take care of this for you, using a combination of expertise and market data to set a fair rent price. When you call us, we’ll generate this quote for you for free. You’ll find that our pricing finds a balance between being attractive for renters while also helping you make money every month. We handle the property management.

As your property management company, we take care of everything. We have a maintenance team that is available 24/7 to handle all renter emergencies. As the owner, you’ll be notified of any problems, but we’ll manage the upkeep of the house, apartment, or condo.

We have multiple payment options, including our online Tenant Portal, where users can sign in and pay electronically. We also offer payment over the phone at (623) 930-7700 and through our dropbox, which allows renters to pay us after-hours.
